City of Lincoln Council GO GREEN with Certero

City
of Lincoln Council has chosen Certero’s PowerStudio™ to help cut their
electricity consumption and reduce their carbon emissions in relation to their
computer usage.
Certero
has been working with the City of Lincoln Council to successfully installed PowerStudio™
to help take then toward their target of continued commitment to reducing
carbon footprint. PowerStudio™ will help reduce carbon footprint
and electricity consumption by ensuring that PC’s are not using electricity
when not needed. This is achieved by applying intelligent power management
policies for the PCs from a centrally managed facility, thus ensuring that
maximum efficiencies are being made.
Employing
around 800 members of staff the Council offer a full range of services to a population
of over 88,000 local people. The Council
prides itself on taking a lead in pursuing the green agenda saving money,
energy and reducing its carbon foot print in every way it can, whilst
maintaining the standard of service to its customers.
