Leicestershire County Council select Certero PowerStudio™ over 1E and Verdiem

PowerStudio is a web based Enterprise Energy Optimisation Suite. By applying centralised computer power policies organisations can prolong the life of their computer equipment, reduce their carbon footprint and potentially save thousands of pounds on Electricity Bills. As with all Certero products the implementation is extremely simple and comprehensive.
Leicestershire County Council covers seven didtrict council areas. The main centres of population in the county are market towns, but the population is split between a few small urban areas, extensive suburban areas and a range of rural settlements. The county includes the towns of Loughborough and Melton Mowbray to the north, Market Harborough to the south east and Hinckley and Ashby-de-la Zouch to the west.
The 2009 / 2010 budget for the council is £326 million in delivering council services and with PowerStudio the organisation can begin to realise a return on investment within months.
