Nice-Pak International has complete control of its IT estate, thanks to Certero  

Global wet wipe manufacturer, Nice-Pak International, now has easy access to vital network

information and complete visibility of its IT estate, thanks to IT asset management specialist Certero.  

Nice-Pak selected Certero’s solution to enable it to complete a quick and easy audit of all Microsoft licenses. Certero’s AssetStudio™ provides a centralised repository for recording license agreements, entitlements, purchase details and gives a full inventory of network devices, ensuring complete visibility of assets.

Helen Searle-Jones, IT Manager at Nice-Pak International, explains, “We needed to quickly access information about our network for the Microsoft audit, for example we needed to find out what applications and Microsoft products run on each PC. AssetStudio™ and Software Metering for decision Makers™ provides us with very detailed data about our licenses and PCs which we can then use for reporting and auditing purposes, while ensuring we are fully compliant with industry standards.

“Keeping track of network devices is vital, so AssetStudio™ is great, particularly our switches and routers, in the event of a system failure. If a switch malfunctions, we are now able to identify what devices are attached to that and reallocate them to another switch so that our users are not disturbed and can continue to work,” concludes Searle-Jones.
