Barnsley PCT NHS joins the growing list of NHS organisations using Certero AssetStudio™

Barnsley Primary Care Trust NHS organisation adopts Certero’s AssetStudio™, an ITAM solution to help drive improved SAM best of breed practices and IT Asset Management.

Barnsley PCT NHS purchased Certero AssetStudio™ after successfully completing an extensive evaluation exercise. The evaluation ensured that the solution met the requirements of Barnsley PCT and de-risked any chance of procuring the wrong solution for them. Certero worked with both Barnsley PCT and Barnsley NHS Trust on the evaluation. This was done free of charge thus providing all the necessary support and training required. This in effect provided Barnsley PCT with a fully working solution at the end of the evaluation reducing significantly any subsequent project costs that may have arisen or been needed if an alternative solution have been chosen.

Barnsley PCT is responsible for supporting the local population of Barnsley (224,600 people) to maintain good health. Its primary responsibility is to improve the health of the local people by promoting healthy lifestyles and providing care in the community and ensuring that appropriate hospital services are available.
