IT Asset Disposal & Computer Recycling
Certero can provide you with a secure, reliable, cost effective computer disposal or recycling service for your redundant IT assets or old computer equipment. Our premises are monitored by CCTV and patrolled 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by on-site security so you can be confident that your data is secure at all times. The service can be used by any organisation wanting to dispose of a minimum of 20 items of IT equipment.
Under the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005, it is an offence to produce hazardous waste at premises, or remove that waste from premises, unless those premises are registered with the Environment Agency.
If you do not register with the Environment Agency you may be liable for a fine.

Computer Recycling
We will dispose of or recycle your assets and provide you with a certificate of disposal. Our equipment is capable of grinding computer parts to extract the metals in a safe environmentally friendly manner. This includes monitors, computers and other miscellaneous items of computer or electronic equipment. - Hard-Disk Destruction
Hard disks can be removed from systems and put through a grinding machine so you can be confident that your data is permanently destroyed. - Asset Tracking
We keep a log of the make, model, asset number and serial number of all your disposed assets for asset tracking purposes.

Under the WEEE directive computer equipment is classed as hazardous waste. If you plan to dispose of more than 200kg of computer equipment in any one year you will need to register with the Environment Agency as a producer of hazardous waste. Our asset disposal service is fully compliant with the WEEE directive.
